Get your flirt on!

Dating or simply chatting up an Austrian is slightly different than in the rest of the world. In a country where equality and feminism is highly valued, chivalry is not nearly as valued as in other parts of Europe. However if you do find someone you would like to get to know, here are some tips to follow.

Tip 1: Start off by asking what he or she does

Tip 2: Become “good friends”

Tip 3: Stay true to yourself and explain to the locals what is normal in your own culture.

Transport from Vienna International Airport.

There are 4 ways to get fromVienna International Airport to the city center - by train, bus, taxi and car transfers.

Train.

The Train is the fastest and best way to get to the city. The station is only 5 minutes from the airport with only a 16 minute journey to the city. Trains leave every half an hour with price varies depending on the kind of ticket you purchase.

Car transfers/ taxis.

Both services are similar with just a few differences. Car transfers can be booked prior with english speaking guides and a fixed rate. Taxis too can be easily accessed just outside the Airport. The journey is around 20 minutes.

Bus.

If you are staying or visiting different areas of Vienna, a bus might also be the ideal option for you. You can find bus routes to various parts of the city just outside the Airpot terminals. Prices may vary depending on the coach and destination.

Best time to travel.

April to may or September to October, during these times the weather is pleasant and the crowds are much less.
