General lingo.

A mission = A term used to describe a task that will require more time and effort than the speaker would prefer to exert.
Que bolá = The Cuban way of saying What’s up!

Dime = Instead of saying hello, people will answer the phone with this word.
Dasit = Just a clumsy combination of “that’s it.”

Transport from Miami Airport.
There are 3 ways to get from Miami Airport to Downtown - by train, rent a car and taxi.
Train.
By far the easiest and cheapest option, just hop on the the MIA Mover, an automated train system, from the airport to the Miami Intermodal Center, which is located nearby. There are apps available for both IOS and Android users to help understanding the Metro system,
Taxi/ Uber.
The quickest option is probably to either take a taxi or a SuperShuttle ($22 flat rate before tip) or a car service like Uber or Lyft (from $10 and up depending on traffic).
Rent a car.
If you prefer to drive yourself, it’s now easier than ever to rent a car at the airport and head over to Downtown Miami. All you need to do after picking up your bags is take the MIA Mover, from the airport to the Miami Intermodal Center.
Best time to travel.
The best time to visit Miami is between March and May.
