Head to the French riviera

As corona slowly loses its grip of Europe and countries open up I suggest that you reacquaint yourself with the rivera which is longing for you and normality again. wkndtrp naturally covers the riviera and focuses on the area in-between Monaco in the East to St Tropez in the west. I personally have made a tradition of attending the Cannes Yacht festival that is in early/mid september every year. A perfect time according to m to meet the beaches and view the latest, biggest and most luxuirious yachts. This year the event is sadly post poned so feel fre to vist Cannes at your leisure.

My three recommendations are

Negresco - Nice

Nice is definitely a stop when visiting the Riviera, Hotel Negresco is where to spend a night or two. Open only to its guests it delivers art museum, old-school charm and fantastic vies of the Mediterranean. Its old school luxury with a twist.

Le Club 55 - St Tropez

Simplicity and authenticity. This spot is quite separate from the rest of Pamplona beach and features delicious food lots of champagne and great people for the perfect lunch. It has so since its creation in 1955:

Bâoli - Cannes

A high-class restaurant in the heart of the Port Canto, the Bâoli is a magical place unlike any other one on the French Riviera. From traditional Mediterranean dishes to the finest Asian delicacies,

Above is what we call a good start. lots more of ideas in the app. Where to stay in Cannes, Where to eat in Nice and where to swim along the coast. Enjoy the french sun.
