Where to have dinner in Copenhagen
Ranked high in surveys of the world’s best cities, Copenhagen stands out for me extra much as it is close to my home in Sweden. With world-class museums, restaurants, hotels, and events yet small amply get around. The best time to go is in summer and enjoy the beaches and harbors.
If hungry you are definitely not going to be dismayed by your decision to visit Copenhagen. So what are the best restaurants, eateries, and diner? My own favorites are found in the center of town,
Kødbyens Fiskebar
Kødbyens Fiskebar is fresh seafood, easy-drinking wines, delicious cocktails, and staff passionate about it. All in a raw and rustic setting in the Meatpacking District in Copenhagen. They always choose local and sustainable products, when the option is there and prefer retailers and producers who share our values on taste, quality, and sustainability.
Cafe Victor
In 1981 Cafe Victor opened its doors and is still one of the city’s most well-known restaurants. The style is French with a cheerful brasserie atmosphere and timeless, crowd-pleasing dishes. The inside at Cafe Victor is elegantly decorated in a classic brasserie-style. It features an open kitchen, mirrored walls, white spreads, and flower bouquets – perfect surroundings for a sumptuous lunch or dinner in an authentic French fashion.
Geist
An eatery where you can relax, unwind, and savor the moment. Food made with pure ingredients and pure enthusiasm. Served with joy alongside good pours. In surroundings that inspire gleeful seduction and free thought.
