Paris | Acquired Taste

You find the stunning Hotel Auberge, nestled in the Domaine de Chantilly, between the Château Gardens and the Grandes Écuries. Hotel Auberge takes its name from what was the Jeu de Paume, which now displays the monumental paintings from the Condé Museum. The hotel is truly something taken out of a fairy-tale. As you enter through the Saint-Denis Gate, the long white facade of the Auberge stretches out before your eyes. Its sober lines and elegant appointments, designed by Le Nôtre and Mansart, echo a very particular French-style art de vivre. While you are here enjoy their famous restaurant, La Table du Connétable, which serve innovative yet traditional French cuisines in their beautiful restaurant with studio windows overlooking the kitchens. The hotel is really unique and you can find yourself drifting away in one of their libraries or at the open fire or in their Winter Garden Bar. The hotel has an extremely warm and welcoming atmosphere so you feel at home at once. They also have a really nice spa’s with subtle lighting and coloured mosaics, which adds the finishing touches to this perfect hideaway, just a few kilometres from Paris.
